We are aiming to
change the perception of the waste industry

We aim to change a lot! Historically, that the waste industry has been perceived as somewhat dirty and not environmentally conscious. A perception we aim to change. By encapsulating all of our company goals, we can make this happen, and we can set ourselves aside from our competition. We have experienced both sides of the coin when it comes to customer service. We care about how we are treated, and for that reason we treat our customers and suppliers in the same way that we expect to be treated. Your business matters to us whether we are servicing your skips correctly, to ensuirning that we are paying invoices on time.

Forward thinking & embracing change

We are going to embrace the future right now. Whether this is new skip Hire software saving our customers both time and money or new machinery to recycle or reuse waste, we want to explore & embrace. By embracing change we aim to change the perception of the waste industry.

Sustainability

We have seen the end of landfill in Dorset. We embrace this and will do our utmost to recycle or reuse our waste. We believe that we all have a duty to protect our planet, & as such are aiming for 100% diversion from landfills. For more information please see our Environmental page.

The history of
The Waste Group

We were established as A&D Skips Back in 2007; we had only one lorry and a small yard in Poole Dorset. Over a short period of time, and with increased business, two further lorries and additional skips were acquired. By 2012, we had four lorries and 200 skips to our name!

In September 2013, A&D Skips Co Ltd received new ownership and new investment. This investment has seen a significant increase in turnover, with six new Volvo skip lorries, two new RoRo lorries, and a new recycling centre, doubling the amount of skip and RoRos available.

On 1st July 2017, some 10 years after we established, we rebranded as The Waste Group a name we embrace, as it allows us to aim for the future and all it will offer.
